2019 Event with University of West Attica, Greece
The Erasmus+ program is an EU higher education subsidy program, providing scholarships to encourage teacher and student international exchanges in European universities. WuFeng University actively signed the Erasmus+ International Mobility Scholarship Program with the University of West Attica located in Greece. WuFeng University is the only university in Taiwan establishing the cooperation with University of West Attica whose subsidy application was approved, which strengthens the connection with Europe and expands the depth of internationalization.
In May, 2019, the EU Project has selected 2 teachers from the Department of Electrical Engineering and the Department of Mechanical Engineering to participate in the Erasmus+ International Conference in Greece to conduct cultural and academic exchanges with representatives around the world. In October of the same year, Yang Sheng Nan, a student from the Department of Electrical Engineering, and Tsai Min Jeng, a student from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, both of whom were sent to the University of West Attica to participate in a three-month short-term study abroad program to enhance students’ international mobility and broaden their knowledge. Plus, in December of the same year, the representative of International and Cross-Strait Affairs Center engaged in the international training for administrators of the program to strengthen the connection between the administrative side and achieve the integration of teaching, administration, and learning with international standards.
